Happy I am happy all the way around. Part worked fine and with very easy installation. The only issue I had was that I ordered the wrong valve the first time. Faucet Dircet handled ther return of the part and the Customer Service at the highest level. All around professionalism. June 27, 2011
valve This valve in the catalog does not list dimensions of the critical areas. Most faucet manufacturers, do not list the model number on their valves, and so when you try to order a repair part, you are guessing. Then when you open the package to set the old one next to the new one to insure proper dimensions and fit up, you can no longer return the product, May 27, 2011

Delta RP46074 (Part) outdoor shower valve froze during extreme cold weather and insides of valve cracked and split open. part was very easy to change out, pull old part out and slip in new part assembly. it was that easy. the only thing i did not like is the part is made of plastic or i would have rated it a 5 instead of 4. thanks for the help on the phone when i ordered! Installing RP46074 I was not able to get the greased O-rings to slide into their places in the valve body with my bare hands. Fortunately I was able to get a furniture clamp behind the valve body and, with a block of wood on the front, it slipped right in to place. Actually it went slightly too far and I had to pull it out a little. November 2, 2009

If the RP46074 is the same as the 1300/1400 series cartridge why is it longer on the RP46074

I am sorry, I am not sure what exactly you are asking. The Delta RP46074 are the cartridges the are for items that were manufactured after June 2006. If you are original purchaser then Delta will replace this item for free.

IS RP19804 THE SAME AS RP46074 VALVE BODY

The Delta RP46074 is for the long body application. The Delta RP19804 is for the short body application.

Is there a similar valve to the RP46704 with longer or shorter stems that plug into the valve body?
